You Should Stay Home If You're Sick
Between the months of October and March, you can hear the following exchange in workplaces everywhere: Employee 1: “I think I’m coming down with something.” Employee 2: “Yeah, something’s going around.” Every flu season, it seems as though one employee after another comes down with “something.” So, why is it that no one can seem to shake the bug? One big reason is the constant stream of sick employees reporting to work. Yes, those dependable colleagues – the ones who sniffle and sneeze their way through the workday, refusing to stay home - are making you ill. Sure, you might respect their dedication to get the job done, but in all honesty, everyone’s better off when they stay home.
