Savannah Allen, 22, has known of her colorblindness since she was little.

It wasn't until her second year in her dental hygienist program at UC Blue Ash that she saw it as a major setback.
"I was scaling a patient and just going through my routine and I had one of the instructors come over and she was like, 'You've missed everything,' and I was like, 'What are you talking about?' and she was like, 'Look here here, here and here,' and I'm like, ‘I can't see.
